The question is whether they can translate their position in batteries into a significant share of the global car market. “It is easier for Chinese electric vehicles to be successful than Chinese internal combustion cars because European and American car manufacturers have a long history of making engines, it is difficult for Chinese car manufacturers to catch up overnight. In addition to its plans to export cars, BYD has held talks to supply batteries to Tesla, according to two people familiar with the matter, and has created a joint venture with Toyota. "We are in the early stages of China becoming a car export market, selling cars abroad, especially electric cars," says Sam Jaffe, managing director of Cairn Energy Research Advisors. Most of the electric car batteries outside of China used cobalt and nickel, this favours the Chinese company because lithium is easier to get than the other materials. According to BYD, the batteries can also be easily recycled and can last more than 1 kilometre of driving.

  And this is my own opinion:

  -Because although Europeans and Americans have a long history with combustion cars, pollution is present at all the world, which will cause the need for this type of car.

• The software engineer will fix your car now:

  It's 2030 and your electric VW has developed an annoying habit of pulling to the right. A few years ago, when his last gas-powered car started doing something similar, a local mechanic in overalls spent half an hour fixing it. But in 2030, it is a software glitch. A patch is sent over the Internet and the repair is done, imagine it. The demand for electric vehicles is increasing as the world accelerates toward historic industrial change. A heavily affected area will be the components' industry. After all, if car manufacturers are less able to differentiate themselves by designing more powerful engines, they will have to compete to make cars more attractive. Some of them are working with component producers on the transition, narrowing down their main suppliers and helping others find new product areas. As there are more electric cars that have software, the software engineers will be more in demand because the car will become like a computer, but with wheels. This is not only good, as mechanics will have less work, the change will be gradual because petrol and diesel cars will be available well into the 2030s.

  And this is my own opinion:

  -I think probably it will happen, because the human (every day) is discovering and renewing himself, and this is a good prediction, but I think not yet. I mean, not in 10 or 20 years, I suppose in more than 30 years because this is a sophisticated thing to do very fast.
